Today I’d like to bring you something a little different. A survey!! Lol.

If you live in Norfolk and have thoughts about climate change, energy, or net zero, here’s your chance to make a difference! The UK Energy Research Centre (UKERC) is running a climate engagement survey, and they want to hear from you.

One of the things we keep harping on about at the shop is data. Data is feedback that brings about change. For example we look at our clickthrough rate on our newsletter. If it looks great, we know you love it. If our TikTok views fluctuate, we understand what we need to adjust.

This survey is all about understanding how everyday people engage with climate issues—whether that’s through personal choices, political involvement, activism, or even just discussing these topics online. It’s not just for experts; anyone who lives, works, or is part of a local community group in Norfolk can take part. Best of all? It only takes about 15 minutes!

The goal is to map out the different ways people are involved in climate discussions and use that information to shape future policies. The UKERC’s Public Engagement Observatory is leading the project, and they’re all about making sure decisions around climate and energy are fair and reflect what the public actually thinks.

So, if you’ve got opinions on net zero, energy policies, or just want your voice to be heard, why not take the survey? It’s a simple way to get involved in something that could shape the future.

Your voice (or fingers in this case) makes a difference.
